What is your role at GetMed Staffing?
Compliance Specialist
Before working at GetMed Staffing, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I was a nail technician in high school. My specialty was nail art. I still dabble in it today, but not as much as I would like!
What do you like most about GetMed Staffing?
I absolutely LOVE the people I work with. We all get along so well and all of our strengths and weaknesses perfectly complement each other. I’ve never had this much fun taking over the world before.
How would you describe GetMed Staffing in 3 words?
Honest. Tenacious. Unstoppable.
What advice do you have for future travelers for GetMed Staffing?
I would advise keeping a comprehensive portfolio of your medical records and certifications with you. Also, anytime you get a new service done for an assignment, obtain a copy of it before you leave the clinic so it’s readily accessible.
What have you gained from working at GetMed Staffing?
Knowledge! Since we are a smaller company, I get to learn more behind the scenes type things and help create procedures. It’s definitely eye-opening to learn how many things need to come together to make something work.
What do you do when you’re not working? (Hobbies, etc.)
I am usually going to or at a sporting event for my three children. In between that, I have a small business selling hand embroidered items and paintings.
What is an interesting fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?
I am an avid reader. My target is to always read at least 30 books a year. Historical Fiction is my favorite but my goal this last year was to branch out of my comfort zone and try different genres. I didn’t regret it!
